Job description
A global FSTE Property Services group which has returned very solid results in 2011 requires a Group Accountant to join its busy head office team. Reporting to the Group FC broad responsibilities include: assist with both internal and external reporting; monthly Group management accounts consolidation including US and Asia subsidiaries; group interim and year end reporting including announcements; preparation of annual reports and accounts including IFRS disclosures; Analyst and investor presentations and statutory accounts; prepare and consolidate the Group annual plan and strategy day presentations; work on and deliver to tight deadlines a high number of ad hoc analysis and tasks required for the CEO and Group CFO such as cost analysis; competitor analysis, forecasting, evaluation of investment appraisals and post evaluation of acquisitions. Candidates must be graduate, ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountants (or with international equivalent qualification) with experience of group consolidations, strong technically (IFRS knowledge), analytically and from a systems perspective (ideally Hyperion) including advanced Excel, have the confidence and gravitas to deal with the CEO and Group CFO on a day-to-day basis but also be keen to understand and interact with the operational business through excellent communication skills. Candidates must be organised and able to handle and enjoy delivering to very tight deadlines.
