Job description
The Permanent Division of Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently recruiting for a Group Accountant for a successful and distinguished organisation based in the Luton area of Bedfordshire. As Group Accountant you will assist with the preparation of accounts, budgets and forecasts for the Group businesses working closely with the Group FC and FD and Commercial Controller. Day-to-day duties will: consist of preparation of accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS; group consolidations; preparation of the monthly group report according to timetable; prepare and maintain a treasury pack of information for banks and third parties; monthly group intercompany reconciliations; developing relationships across all areas of the business. You will be degree qualified with a recognised accountancy qualification and PQE with excellent technical and group accounting exposure and the ability to present and influence at all levels across a fast-paced organisation.
