Job description
Our client is a leading provider of Software solutions to the Communications Services industry. Hundreds of communications providers worldwide extend and brand their business by building on our client’s products to develop a robust and immersive communications network. As a result of the upcoming IPO our client is looking to add to the strength of their Group Reporting team to provide the business with key management information and post IPO financial reporting compliance. The Group function is responsible for the consolidation of all legal entities’ quarterly and annual company reports as well as the production of statutory reports for the group under US GAAP. Reporting to the Group FC, responsibilities will include: accurate production of consolidated financial reports for the group; key performance indicator reporting, including analysis and relevant commentary for use by senior management; assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecast at group level; advising on and implementing complex accounting policies; identifying financial risks and exposures and developing controls to keep them to a minimum; liaison with External Auditors and statutory account filing; ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Group FC. The successful candidate will be ACA qualified with strong technical accounting ability. Qualifying from a Top 10 accounting firm with a strong academic record the candidate will have a particularly good knowledge of IFRS and ideally some exposure to US GAAP however this is non-essential. Management experience and the ability to inspire and develop others would also be looked upon favourably. Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm and energy to help drive the business forward will be obvious qualities of the successful candidate.
