Job description
Our client in North Yorkshire is looking to appoint a qualified Accountant to work within its prestigious head office in North Yorkshire. The business is a successful, acquisitive Group of companies, with sites across the UK and an established, well-known brand. They wish to appoint a qualified finance professional to take responsibility for the consolidated accounts preparation and full annual reporting for all companies under UK GAAP and IFRS. Working closely with the Divisional Directors, you will work to supply accurate management information to the board reflecting overall financial performance, taking a lead role in acquisitional activity and ensuring the delivery of detailed operational risk management. You will also take on responsibility for all company treasury and taxation matters. The successful candidate will be a qualified accounting professional, likely ACA qualified and ideally gained within a Big 4 accountancy firm. You will be able to demonstrate post-qualification experience within a large corporate environment, within a similar role capacity.
