Job description
Our client in North Yorkshire is looking to appoint a qualified Accountant to work within its prestigious UK head office. The business is a successful, acquisitive group of companies; an established PLC with a widely recognised brand. They wish to appoint a qualified finance professional to take responsibility for the organisation's overseas accounts preparation and full annual reporting for all companies under IFRS. Working closely with the Divisional Directors, you will work to accurately interpret monthly reports and supply critical management information to the board reflecting overall financial performance whilst taking on full responsibility for all company insurance, treasury and taxation affairs. The successful candidate will be a qualified accounting professional, ACA/ACCA or CIMA, ideally gained within either a mid-tier public Practice firm or from a similar environment within industry. Critical also will be first-rate communication skills, allowing for the creation of excellent working relationships across a range of finance and non-finance personnel.
