Job description
We are working on behalf of a Surrey based Insurance business that is looking for Group Accountant to join the business. The role will take responsibility for the production of the Group Consolidated Financial Accounts and all aspect of financial reporting under UK GAAP. Key accountabilities include financial integrity and reporting, MI reporting, CApex and project schedules, regulatory statutory accounting and financial systems controls. This role will also over look the corporate tax computation (we are not looking for a Tax Specialist). To apply for this role candidates must be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial and technical accounts experience from within the Financial Services sector. Experience for this role must include consolidations, financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation in line with UK GAAP and overseeing corporate tax computations. This role offers a generous salary and up to 20% bonus.
