Job description
Owned by a leading private equity house with a turnover of c£1 billion, this well known international Group is seeking a Group Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the Group's financial management including all aspects of policy, planning and reporting. You will manage the Group Finance function including supervision of the Group's Financial Accountant, production of the Group's monthly consolidated management accounts, interim and year end reported accounts, the Group's annual report and subsidiary statutory accounts. Additionally you will provide guidance to Business Unit FDs and Heads of Finance in order to ensure compliance with accounting best practice; manage the Group's budgeting & forecasting; take ownership of the financial inputs and analysis to support all corporate transactions which could include mergers & acquisitions, re-financing and disposals; and have responsibility for the Corporate Centre finance function and reporting to relevant Directors. This role is a rare opportunity to join an exceptional business driven by private equity demands. Ideally you will have operated at a Group level in a complex international organisation/PLC or be seeking your move from the profession.
