Job description
This large private equity firm is seeking to appoint an interim Group Finance Director for one of its portfolio companies. The company is an international business services business, turning over c£ 400m. The focus of the assignment is round change management; the business has undergone some difficult times and is now preparing for more optimistic times ahead - there will be a number of M&A opportunities as well as a focus on improving controls, processes and management information. The successful candidate must possess experience in M&A activity including leading and managing post-merger integration. The candidate must be able to maintain a strong cost-cutting approach, able to manage cash tightly and have close working relationships with the banks. Overall the candidate should be passionate about sound financial control, strategic development, and people leadership. A further prerequisite is for the candidate to be an experienced interim CFO with a proven track record in private equity backed assignments, and significant international experience. Salary on offer is £800-£1000/per day.
