Job description
Hays is currently working with a Derbyshire based business in their search for a Polish speaking Commercial Finance Manager. The role is to be based either from their site in Poland or their Chesterfield site with at least 2 weeks per month travel to Poland. This is an exciting time to be joining the business as in the past year they have seen the business grow nearly 40% to a turnover in the region on 25 million Pounds and they will look to continue this via natural organic growth through acquisition. The main responsibilities of the role will be: to become a key member of the Management team and influence the business through commercial direction; to manage and control financial accounting procedures in-line with Polish accounting rules and regulations; monthly management accounts and group reporting, annual statutory accounts, continuous business improvement from a financial perspective, to manage and develop external relationships inc, banks, Auditors and local tax authorities and any ad hoc duties as and when required by the Group FD and CEO. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in either Poland or a Polish company, have some international PLC exposure and have previously reported into a head office function.
