Job description
This is a Group Finance Manager position within a large, international and high profile Media organisation. They are looking for someone to join the Group function as a Finance Manager. The company itself is on a growth plan with new entities in Europe, America and the Far East. They are concentrating on emerging markets. It is highly commercial with the main aspects being: technical analysis and production of board papers supporting areas of financial reporting judgement; preparation of the group budget pack and associated analysis; production of the monthly group rolling forecast and associated analysis; analysis, review and challenge of forecasts; preparation of the budgets and forecasts for the ‘head office’ companies; assisting in the group consolidation under international financial reporting standards (IFRS); assisting in the preparation of the PLC year end and interim accounts for publication; preparation of the audit files and statutory accounts for the ‘head office’ companies under UK GAAP; preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts (including narrative) and review of board reports (forward bookings, yield analysis and sales graphs); analysis and review of results; review of the accounting records for the ‘head office’ companies; analysis for FD, including investment analysis and post-acquisition reviews. The ideal candidate will be ACA Top 4 qualified with 1 role out of Practice and have good foreign currency group consolidated balance sheet experience as well as preparation of IFRS financial statements. Hyperion experience would be a bonus but is not compulsory. Please apply ASAP (they are looking to interview ASAP).
