Job description
Our client, a large public sector organisation with multiple subsidiaries who recently have gone through a national restructure and re-brand to assist in moving the Central Finance function to the East Midlands now require a temporary to permanent commercially focused Finance Manager. Reporting to the FD and Group FD, you will be required to manage a team of 10 who are like-minded people within a specialist arena. The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA qualified Commercial Accountant with within a large public sector/Housing or Charity organisation. Our client is also looking for individuals who can demonstrate the ability to manage, support, motivate others, prepare/coordinate the budgets, become fully conversant with national practices, review standard trends, complete month/year end, forecast group budgets and review performances having experienced reporting Intra group Agreements, GSO, ALMOs and the consolidation of financial budgets/plans/accounts for the East Midlands.
