Job description
As a result of an internal move and pending a permanent hire, our client is looking to recruit a Chartered Accountant within their financial accounting area. This position offers a broad overview of the business, practical and varied experience in accounting, consolidations, systems work, and exposure to US GAAP. The role: assisting with the month end close process, coordinating with Regional Controllers; contributing to the preparation of monthly board reports by completing spreadsheets and collating other regional pack returns; assisting with analysis of monthly results and comparisons against forecasts; contributing to the preparation of quarterly senior management/board presentations. The Candidate: graduate with good academic education and Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or non-UK equivalent); experience of a consolidation system (ideally Hyperion Enterprise) advantageous; strong Microsoft Excel alongside good IT skills particularly Outlook and Word.
