Job description
Our client, an international Fashion Retailer based in Central London seeks a Group Financial Accountant for 6 months to join what is undoubtedly one of the best and most glamorous employers in the capital. Based at their super-trendy offices in the heart of town, this role will expose an ACA qualified professional with PQE to the exciting world of retail finance across Europe. Working closely with pan-European controllers, you will drive excellence in the delivering of the European statutory account submissions from each country. From there, you will (where necessary) raise issues over the quality and integrity of the data or make adjustments where anomalies have arisen as a consequence of local GAAP to IFRS transition of currency fluctuations. Furthermore, as you work in partnership with the management reporting teams you will drive solutions in the identification (and explanation) of significant variance. You will then oversee the rather complex IFRS consolidation processes and the delivery of those numbers to the business. In return for what will be a career-growing experience for a suitably qualified professional, you must have proven background in international finance within a global branded retail or FMCG business and be an expert in complex financial reporting and IFRS consolidations. If you are this person, please submit your details.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
