Job description
A market leading business is currently recruiting for a Group Financial Accountant to assist in the delivery of UK statutory accounts and reporting requirements to meet internal and external deadlines. Working within a high profile team, you will gain broad exposure to the entire business, paving the way for fast-track progression opportunities. Responsibilities will include: the preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS; consolidation of group accounts; liaising with auditors and tax; monitoring ledgers; ad-hoc control and procedure projects. In order to succeed in this role you will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with relevant statutory reporting and compliance experience, perhaps from a practice background. You will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail and be able to deliver to strict deadlines. Where UK qualifications are specified we will take into account overseas equivalents. To apply for this position candidates must be eligible to work in country in which the role is based. We regret that due to the high volume of applications we receive if you have not heard from us within 10 days, then your application has not been successful on this occasion. However, please do continue to apply for jobs advertised by CMC Consulting.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
