Job description
A proactive growing Financial Services group who expanded the variety of subsidiary companies and products that they offer is seeking a similarly enthusiastic Group Accountant. Due to the expansion and the diversification of the group they are looking for a qualified ACA with relevant industry experience to joint their tight knit Finance team. This is a broad role where you will be able to find your own niche and take up new challenges as there is no rigid boundaries set on your role, however your responsibilities will include: completion of monthly financial and management reports (including commentary/MI packs and forecasting & budgeting); completion of statutory accounts (although VAT returns will be completed by another member of the team; managing and developing a bookkeeper; ad hoc projects including helping with the set up of the Treasury function. The ideal candidate will be an ACA qualified Accountant with previous post qualified experience within Financial Services. Any experience of the ledger system, ITAS would be advantageous. It is a meritocracy with a flat structure so offers great visibility for the work you achieve and great career progression potential.
