Job description
Our client, a market leading East Midlands PLC business, is currently looking to appoint a new Group Reporting Accountant due to a recent internal promotion. Reporting to the UK FC, you will be responsible for both UK & US GAAP reporting to parent company as well as; localised statutory & IFRS reporting; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal audits for its numerous European entities. The successful candidate will be a technically strong qualified Accountant with proven, group, balance sheet, internal controls, and consolidations experience. Essential to this role is a robust reporting background coupled with the ability to challenge and influence at all levels. Applicants must be fully qualified with a strong academic background coupled with staff management experience. A strong knowledge of UK/US GAAP is essential and experience of Hyperion is also highly desirable.
