Job description
This market-leading organisation is leading to recruit a high calibre qualified individual in to its Group Accounting function to ensure continued compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP. You will assume responsibility for preparing the organisation’s consolidated financial statements and for managing the year end financial accounting process and liaising with Auditors. In addition there will be an ongoing requirement to monitor compliance with group accounting policies and to measure the impact that new business developments have on the company’s financial reporting capabilities. Applicants will need to be qualified with experience of operating either in a large listed company environment or as an Auditor with a leading accounting Practice. You will also need to have a sound understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP and be experienced in resolving complex accounting issues.
