Job description
You will be responsible for the financial and management accounting and consolidation of group accounts. This role will encompass consolidation and group reporting for five trading business within the UK and Europe. Reporting to the FD, your responsibilities will include: preparation and review of monthly-consolidated for group wide management accounts; head office reporting to Board; proactive implementation of systems process improvements and financial control; manage comprehensive, efficient and accurate reporting process to meet internal (senior management) requirements and external (shareholder, regulators, legal, tax authorities) requirements; oversee ongoing evaluation of business performance and initiatives within business units. Requirements: a qualified Accountant with experience of working at a senior level within a finance function; experience of working within a highly regulated, pressurised business environment; experience of leading a team, including performance management and staff development; Financial Services experience (investments division); problem solving, with a commitment to delivering on deadlines. Our client is a well-established, major player in Financial Services, focussing on investment services, with over 200,000 customers with over £3.77b in customer assets. Its northern office is based in Leeds. Package: up to £80,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
