Job description
Our client is an expanding Liverpool SME. They are one of the leaders in their sector having grown rapidly in the past 5 years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. This has led to strong company results and staff rewards (bonus). The company now seek to appoint a talented Financial Controller to manage the Finance function for the group. You will be responsible for ensuring timely production of monthly management accounts, the budget setting process, annual reporting and coordination of the audit, and the line management of a small Finance team. There will be a number of key priorities when you join including the improvement of financial controls and the integration of subsidiary Finance teams at head office. You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally have trained in practice, and have previous experience of managing a team.
