Job description
Our client is a leading Media company and following a period of reorganisation they are about to embark on an exciting period of growth and innovation. This is a key role within the business and the successful candidate should have a reputation for cutting-edge financial reporting, technical ability and management. They will lead a world-class Finance team where innovation & commitment to excellence is essential. The role: management of a central team with significant liaison across the operational business areas & with the senior management of those areas; lead on all Group reporting including IFRS, consolidation, tax and treasury; provide key management information to the Board and external stakeholders; lead systems and processes across central finance and the group; manage external Auditor relationship and ensure all audit and IFRS requirements are met. Person: blue chip trained ACA/CIMA/ACCA with exceptional academics and complex consolidation experience; strong hands-on reporting skills and management experience; innovative individual, focused on value add & efficiencies; strong technical abilities combined with strategic insight; excellent communicator with well developed business awareness.
