Job description
Excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive company as a Group Financial Controller. Working closely with the Board of Directors and managing the Finance team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure adequate internal controls and process; evaluate the accounting system and procedures and recommend changes/improvements and implement as required; ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation and costing of product sold; the efficient delivery of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as well as the preparation of forecasting and management cash activities for MI packs to discuss with the Board of Directors; responsible for quarterly and annual public reporting documents including financial statements, notes for a listed company together with the UK statutory reporting requirements. As the right candidate you will be qualified (ACA ACCA CIMA) and have excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen. The role has significant interaction with operations, so is best suited to candidates who regard themselves as having a degree of charisma. Experience of reporting for a listed company is desirable, though not essential. Salary & benefits: £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits.
