Job description
Our client is a fast growth, award winning Business Services group, based on the M4 Corridor. The business has reached a size where it needs to appoint a Group Financial Controller to its head office. Growth plans for the next 3-5years are significant and the Group Controller will be a pivotal part of the strategy delivery within the group. You will be ambitious, commercially astute and have the determination to make the role your own working as a valued voice within the Management team. Key responsibilities will include: preparation of Group Statutory accounts; development of internal controls and processes; managing and leading a small Finance team including Tax and Treasury functions. You will be a qualified Accountant with a recognised professional qualification. Essentially you will have spent some time within a technical audit role preparing Statutory accounts to UK GAAP/IFRS standards. You will have managed and positively influenced a team of qualified Accountants and will have excellent stakeholder management skills. Periodic presentations to the Senior Management team will be required, all of whom are driven and very excited to be part of what is a successful and entrepreneurial growth story.
