Job description
Our client, a large international Manufacturing group, is recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to support the UK business. This is a newly created role, which will provide expert technical advice to the UK business and while providing group with the full visibility of the UK operation. The backbone to this role will be technical, consolidating the multiple UK operations, group reporting under UK GAAP and US GAAP, internal control, compliance and pensions accounting and therefore the successful candidate is likely to have trained in the Big 4. However, the role will have broader remit covering business planning, business transformation and will develop into a more operational and strategic role. The ideal candidate will me a strong character and self-starter who is currently working for a large manufacturing or engineering group in a group Financial Controller or divisional Director post.
