Job description

If so, this outstanding Group Financial Controller job opportunity could provide the platform you need to develop your skills, prove your ability and enhance your career. Reporting to the Group FD, you will travel throughout the UK to manage the existing businesses and integrate new acquisitions. You will be responsible for governance, group reporting, budgets and forecasts and supporting the FD in the financing of the business including working with the city. Although a group role you will need to be able to delve in to the detail at a subsidiary level to manage staff, implement effective controls, improve reporting and take responsibility for the accuracy of Group reports. A rare opportunity for a first rate ACA to secure the skills needed to become an FD in 3-4 years. An opportunity to: gain exposure to a rapidly growing listed business; assist in identifying, funding and integrating acquisitions; work closely with the FD and play a pivotal role in implementing Group strategy; gain the skills required to become an FD; ACA qualified; IFRS experience; previous experience of developing reporting; driven.
