Job description
A large reputable Kent based company is looking for an experienced individual to not only oversees their Management Accounts team but to also proactively improve processes and methods of operations. Supervising two qualified Accountants, the person appointed will be responsible for managing the team to ensure that accurate and timely accounts are prepared on a monthly basis, undertake a full review of the monthly trading management accounts, ensuring variance against budgets and forecasts are evaluated, maintain the corporate model; liaise with other stakeholders of the business ensuring the companies group position is reported accurately and timely, forecast corporate debt, review/analyse budgets and forecasts for the trading entities, prepare the group corporate report and review current systems to ensure more effective and efficient processes are adopted. Applications are invited from ACCA or CIMA qualified individuals who demonstrate solid and proven management accounts experience (ideally gained in building, construction, property or similar), proven modelling and forecasting skills and the ability to develop systems/processes as well as the expertise to manage staff effectively and excellent interpersonal skills.
