Job description

We are recruiting for a Group Management Accountant position for a leading PLC business based in Surrey. The role is a senior appointment within the business and will require the individual to have a very analytical outlook when reviewing consolidated figures. This role will take full responsibility in producing monthly management reporting packs and will provide commentary on the figures delivered to enable strategic planning and execution. Additionally this role will be responsible for the production of sensitivity analysis, interpretation of consolidated figures, review of market trends, take ownership of the full P&L pack with revenue reporting (forecasts, budgets, variance analysis and prior year comparatives). To apply for this position applicants must be qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of working within a multinational group function of a large business (ideally a PLC), dealing with multiple currency transactions and the ability to report back on what actually the figures mean for the business. This role is heavily spreadsheet based so strong Excel skills are essential. This opportunity will offer progression to the write individual and give the incumbent the opportunity to directly influence the business.
