Job description

Our client, a FTSE Listed business that has a defined strategy for growth both organically and by acquisition is seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA to join its head office Finance team. This is a critical and high profile role with this individual being responsible for the provision of high quality financial information. Candidates could be making their move from professional practice or moving from a Group company within industry. Main accountabilities include: perform the monthly, half yearly and annual consolidation and reporting; coordination of overseas entities statutory reporting and balance sheet financial analysis; maintenance and development of consolidation tool and group consolidation model; project accounting as and when required; responsible for PLC share capital and share options accounting tax analysis and management charges. The candidate: previous experience of group reporting for med/large companies; ACA or ACCA qualified; exposure to UK and international reporting standards; strong systems skills to include advanced Excel and ideally previous experience using a consolidation tool; excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience working within a listed business, which offers career progression. It will allow you to get close to the numbers and play an important role of the development of the business.
