Job description
A leading FTSE 100 Insurance business is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to join the Group Financial Reporting team and support the Group Capital Reporting Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for: developing and implementing the Group's Pillar III Solvency II reporting processes; developing the consolidation process for qualitative reporting templates by reviewing internal controls and existing data models; producing consolidated group reports to provide insight and understanding into regulatory metrics and IFRS/EEV reporting standards; interacting with Finance Managers across all group business units. You will be a qualified Accountant, with proven industry experience in a regulatory reporting role in Financial Services and a strong interest/understanding of Solvency II requirements. The jobholder will be a key member of the department so I am looking for an ambitious individual with excellent technical accounting knowledge alongside great communication skills who will be comfortable interfacing with Senior Management. This is a newly created role within the Group Financial Reporting team so there is huge opportunity to take ownership and develop processes from scratch in a blue chip Financial Services organisation, with excellent opportunities for internal career progression.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
