Job description

Our client, a Global Insurance Company, is currently seeking a Group Reporting Manager. This is a high profile role that will involve managing a team and being actively involved in the Solvency II working group, ensuring complete and accurate accounting records for each of the UK registered companies, in accordance with IFRS and UKGAAP, and preparing analytical reviews to support the financial numbers for analytical and board review. Your responsibilities will also include: preparation of all financial and fiscal reports for the UK companies; group reporting and managing year-end statutory reporting; guidance and Support to the UK European and Nordic businesses to enable them to achieve agreed plans; run ad-hoc financial projects. The successful candidate will ideally have a professional accountancy qualification and good experience of insurance accounting preferably gained in General Insurance. The candidate must demonstrate strong Solvency II, IFRS and UKGAAP experience and understanding. Candidates will also display excellent excel knowledge combined with strong presentation and communication skills.
