Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Head Office Finance Director to work for a subsidiary of a listed company within commerce and industry. This is an interim assignment and the successful candidate will be expected to commit to the role for 9 months+. Based in Central London you will be responsible for leading a team in the reporting and consolidation of the accounts for the company. The successful candidate will have PQE and be confident in overseeing the year end process, controlling and reviewing the quarterly management reporting procedure, identifying and resolving any accounting issues and ensuring they are compliant with both Sarbanes-Oxley and US GAAP. The successful candidate will have the following experience: experience working for the head office of a listed company whilst reporting under US GAAP or experience working in a practice firm auditing listed companies under US GAAP; extensive US GAAP experience; derivative accounting knowledge; reviewing and taking sole ownership the full accounting procedure for a company.
