Head of Business Planning and Operations
Kingston Upon Thames
£60,000 - £70,000 basic plus excellent benefits

The Head of Business Planning is a key role within the Leadership team of Nikon UK, reporting directly to the UK General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the business planning cycle; coordinate preparation of accurate forecasts and delivery of the monthly business plan, integrating sales, business and product planning processes.
  • Play a key role in improving the quality of information shared across the business, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing and finance.
  • Challenge the business in its performance and commercial assumptions through use of market insight and data.
  • Manage and develop the team, bringing a fresh commercial and creative approach.
  • Manage the UK Sales Operations function to maximise customer service levels.

The Candidate:

  • Bright graduate with experience of working within business planning or commercial finance departments in roles such as Business Planning Manager/Commercial Finance Partner/Business Analyst.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of forecasting and budgeting is essential with proven track record in implementing strategic plans to improve business performance.
  • Ideally a background within a consumer products or consumer-led business. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual looking to take the next step in their career.
