Job description
A Head of Corporate Finance is required for a leading Global Mining/Exploratory organisation. With a presence in over 15 countries across five continents employing more than 10,000 people, this company has experienced strong growth even through the global downturn. Reporting into the Global CFO, with overall responsibility for managing the Group Corporate Finance Function, your key deliverables will include: working closely with all aspects of the business including the Group Board, Business Unit CEOs and external advisors, you will identify strategic opportunities; develop the deal strategy; provide negotiation leadership; advise on optimum commercial structure; perform valuation work; engage with the investment banking community, utilising where necessary. The successful person will be ACA qualified/equivalent and will possess experience in a leadership capacity within a Corporate Finance function. It is likely you will have worked across international territories and been responsible for Mergers & acquisitions of a significant size. Excellent communication and presentation skills will be a given, and your ability to build strong and effective relationships with Senior Management/Board, first class.
