It costs us over £120 million a year to save lives at sea. We operate over 330 lifeboats, manned by our brave volunteer crews from some 230 lifeboat stations around 10,000 miles of UK and Republic of Ireland coastline, supported from 6 regional divisional bases and our HQ in Poole. Not to mention our lifeguards patrolling over 110 beaches in the south and south west of England. We’re entirely reliant upon voluntary funding, generated by more than 35,000 volunteer fundraisers, operating through 1,085 fundraising branches and 9 regional offices, together with our central fundraising operations.
Lives depend on our careful financial management. You’ll be a member of our senior management group - taking responsibility for financial control, financial and management reporting and key decision support throughout the business – reporting to the Finance & IS Director.
As a qualified Accountant and finance professional with a strong track record in financial management and control, you’ll have exceptional technical, analytical and communication skills. Your ability to lead and inspire your team, drive performance levels and bring people together, as well as think strategically will also be important. Experience of SAP would also be an advantage.
PRIDE. PURPOSE. PEOPLE.
