Sense is a progressive national and international charity, working to support and empower those who are deafblind and who have associated disabilities, enabling them to fulfil their potential and enjoy maximum independence.
Sense has a well deserved reputation for providing excellent services for deafblind people. Our new five year strategy, ‘It’s in Our Hands’, sets ambitious targets for growth, so that we can provide more support to more deafblind people every year. In order to meet this challenge we need to ensure the organisation has systems and processes in place to identify and act quickly upon opportunities.
We are looking to enhance and develop our Business Development team to lead the organisation in identifying and tendering for new opportunities. This enhancement will also see us look to add financial and business support to our growing Children’s Services team as well as offering Sense nationally support in dealing with new funding regimes and the best value agenda.
We require an experienced and innovative Team Leader with extensive knowledge of tendering processes, public funding regimes, financial management and business development.
