An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Finance to join our client, a technology and innovation leader. Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance job will include: review the Financial Analysis to support the Business Lead enabling a though understanding of the programme finances, highlighting areas of opportunity and risk; lead a team of 19 employees; attract, retain, motivate and develop direct reports; own and continue the development of FP&A Cognos models and reports; create and lead the development and implementation of financial strategies or tactics. The ideal Head of Finance will possess the following attributes/skills: qualified Accountant; understands the role of finance as both a business partner and a custodian; excellent communicator and critical thinker who understands business drivers; Cognos experience; a leader, able to motivate and inspire.
