Autonomous UK division of global business, with a turnover of £11 million. Delivering leading industry-specific solutions for automated and manual warehouses and distribution centres this company provides consulting services, software solutions, implementation and support to significant names in the industry.
The business now seeks to recruit a first class Head of Finance to take responsibility for all of the UK and Ireland Finance and administration. The role forms part of the UK Leadership team and reports directly to the European based Head of Finance.
The Role
- Provide timely, commercially insightful information in a controlled environment and ensure that the month end accounting process is accurate, efficient and in accordance with group accounting policies.
- Prepare and coordinate with External Auditors all appropriate material for annual audits of financial statements.
- Work with non-Finance Managers providing information and analysis to aid commercial decision-making.
The Candidate
- Qualified Accountant with experience as a Finance Director/Financial Controller within a small to medium sized private enterprise or division of a larger business. International exposure would be an advantage.
- Robust, confident and strong communicator with the gravitas to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong computer skills, preferably experience of SAP and Cognos.
