Job description

Duties: to support the Founder and the Board of Directors in strategic reviews of the business; to control the strategic review of investment decisions; to support the Founder in driving a customer-focussed culture both externally and internally; to take responsibility for all aspects of the Finance function globally with direct reports in the UK and overseeing responsibilities for North America; ensure that the business runs at all times in an efficient manner and make recommendations for timely improvements; to ensure that the bi-annual budget meets the strategic objectives of the business and is owned by the business; to ensure that the business has commercial information available on a timely basis to ensure effective monitoring and control of the business activities; to take responsibility for the integrity of the accounting records and to ensure that the group meets all legal, statutory and taxation requirements in all operating subsidiaries. A qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA Accountant is required. Our client would be particularly interested to hear from people with a mid-tier practice background who has enjoyed client facing and team management exposure. Our client is a well respected employer in its sector and operates a successful business model on both sides of the Atlantic offers up to £55,000 plus benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
