Job description

Due to internal promotion we are seeking a Head of Finance for a highly respected client, who is a leader and innovator in their field. Prime responsibilities will include: clear strategic leadership to the teams around the LRP for the division; drive planning activities such that robust and agreed/operationally owned forecasts are delivered in a timely manner and in line with group expectations; ensure the Finance team are partnering with the External Operational teams appropriately and influencing decision-making on a day-to-day basis to facilitate target achievement; on an ongoing basis business cases will need to be financially appraised, ensuring strategic, operational and commercial impacts are assessed; you will provide leadership and coaching to the Finance team and proactively Partner with other Divisional teams to drive accountability for financial performance. It is also essential that you provide commercial challenge to the division to deliver strategic and operationally owned forecasts/budgets; provide insight and challenge to the division to deliver operationally owned and commercially strong business cases/initiatives and succinctly operate as part of the wider commercial finance community. We are seeking a commercially astute, qualified Accountant with a solid track record of achievement and delivery, progression and of managing successful teams and be accustomed to influencing and presenting at board level.
