Sika is an international market leader in the manufacture and distribution of speciality chemicals and generates revenue in excess of £3bn with operations in over 70 countries. The UK operation has a need to appoint a Head of Finance.
Reporting to the UK General Manager the key responsibilities will include:
- Providing financial management across the UK business (multi-site operation).
- Managing and developing the UK Finance team and ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial management reporting locally and to the Group.
- Integrating acquired businesses and developing a cohesive Finance team and to contribute to the implementation of SAP.
- Operating as a critical Business Partner on all aspects of commercial growth and potential acquisitions.
- To act as Company Secretary.
Prospective candidates will be qualified Accountants with a track record of success gained in commercial high growth businesses ideally in the industrial/manufacturing or logistics sector. You will have strong technical accounting skills coupled with a high commercial awareness. Exposure systems implementation and SAP would be highly advantageous. Of equal importance are exceptional interpersonal skills that will enable you to make a positive impact on the UK business and wider international Group.
