Job description
Our client, a global market leading blue chip organisation, is currently looking to recruit a Head of Financial Control to lead the coordination and development of the international corporate finance team. This role requires a qualified accountant to lead the improvement of financial reporting and working closely with the Financial Controller to implement controls across the organisation. The key responsibilities of the role include: overseeing the production of monthly group consolidations; managing global processes and ensuring all risks are monitored accurately; leading the group year end process managing all external global relationships; providing guidance regarding the improvement of global processes; managing and developing a team of 8 across the business. The ideal candidate will be commercially aware with strong technical knowledge. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within an international business and previous exposure to leading a team.
