Job description

A Head of Financial Planning & Analysis is required for a FTSE 100 infrastructure organisation based in Central London. This is a new position created to lead the budgeting & forecasting cycles of the business, and to provide financial analysis and insight to help the business achieve its financial goals. The position reports directly into the Group Financial Controller and manages a team of four. Key responsibilities include: Lead the budgeting cycle through supporting the Group Finance Director and GFC in establishing and setting appropriate financial targets for the business, managing the production of the group budget, developing presentation packs and identifying and suggesting opportunities to improve results; lead the financial forecasting / re-forecasting processes across BL; add value to the business through analysing key trends, developing KPIs and identifying opportunities; work on “special” projects as required. The successful candidate will be a commercially orientated qualified accountant with a strong background of financial planning & analysis. Ideally you will be a Chartered accountant from the ‘Big Four’ with post qualified experience from within the infrastructure / property sector.
