Job description

A rare opportunity for an outstanding finance professional to join one of Europe’s leading online consumer businesses. Technical excellence, a strong pedigree, international experience and personal drive and energy will mark out the successful candidate. Joining a rapidly growing business, your responsibilities will encompass the full range of FP&A work you might expect from a fast-paced, industry leading online business. You will report to the CFO and work closely with other members of the senior team delivering planning and analysis for a business which is growing internationally and has a market leading position in the UK. Part of your brief will be to develop and build the FP&A team over the coming months. You will be intimately involved in the implementation of the ERP system. You will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with experience with a leading international accountancy firm followed by some years in-house in a similar industry sector (online). Demonstrably a FP&A expert, you will have developed a real specialism in this field during your recent career. You may have reached the stage now where you are a Head of FP&A in another business or are in a deputy position with the capability to step up. We are looking for outstanding people for this fascinating, challenging and well rewarded position. You probably won’t fit everyone’s preconceptions of an Accountant and you will have consummate people skills which will enable you to fit into a young, vibrant and high energy business. Above all, you will have the ability to appreciate the larger operational picture – not just the financial issues - and to work as part of a close knit and entrepreneurial team. If you would like to find out more, please let us have your CV. If you would like to understand more about this role please contact Nick Benson in confidence by email or call him.
