Job description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen in a leading independent TV Production company based in London for a Head of Financial Reporting. Our client has production companies in over 10 countries and is continually growing. Due to the growth of the business the Group Finance function has expanded and they require help to deliver value on the behalf of the team. Responsibilities Head of Financial Reporting role include: manage and develop the talented Group Financial Analyst; responsible for managing and reviewing the business global consolidation and monthly close and reporting the business Financials to a global US GAAP consolidation; managing & developing the Groups accounting policies - communication to and training of the Groups operating company financial management; ongoing oversight of the Groups Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and work with management to resolve and remediate control deficiencies; be the key point of contact with the Groups Auditors (EY) for the Group audit; oversee, review and approve the operating company entity statutory accounts; manage cash reporting requirements, and liaise with Head of FP&A to ensure Group and subsidiaries are financed adequately with the Treasury team. Key skills required: a qualified ACA (or overseas equivalent); exposure of collaborating with and influencing others across geographic boundaries; able to demonstrate an understanding of commercial issues and how they impact US GAAP accounting and reporting; possess strong analytical/planning skills; worked effectively within a large, multi site and complex business; excellent Excel skills.
