Job description
Duties: direct both the strategic and operational elements of the Internal Audit function, including the audit plan; identify assurance-specific agendas for the organisation; liaise with both senior management and External Auditors regarding both the annual audit plan as well as audit reviews; mentor and develop the Audit function; provide assurance on the effectiveness of the risk management framework. Requirements: qualified Accountant (ACA); experience of audit (internal and/or external) and an in-depth understanding of risk; significant people management experience; at ease working with audit committees and senior management; proven exposure of working in a global organisation. A well-known Charity offers £50,000 - £60,000. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
