Job description
Our client, a leading Financial Services firm, is looking to take on a Head of Internal Audit for its business in Kent. Based in luxurious offices, this is a fantastic opportunity to oversee a small team with plenty of scope and to manage a critical function of its finance operations. This role would suit someone with strong communication skills and some direct people management experience looking for a new challenge in their career. You will have the opportunity to attend audit committees, gain broad exposure to the business and work in a varied and exciting role with plenty of autonomy. Applicants must have strong internal audit experience from a Financial Services environment and a good understanding of solvency II and FSA regulations. You should hold a relevant qualification such as IIA, ACA, ACCA. You will be writing and presenting reports so you should have strong academics and excellent report writing skills.
