Job description
Our client is an extremely successful expanding international business with very ambitious growth targets. They now require an exceptional, commercially focused, qualified accountant, leading a team, to drive the planning processes and manage financial reporting. Key responsibilities of this very broad high profile role will include: development of all aspects of Financial and Management reporting including IFRS reporting and management of the audit; management of the budget, planning and forecasting processes as well as providing analysis for investor relations etc; as well as cash flow forecasting the role will be the key point of contact for the board on all financial information to support incisive and timely commercial and strategic decision making. The ideal candidate is likely to be a practice trained accountant with a good academic record. Someone who has gained experience of external reporting under IFRS, in a large business environment. You will probably have a track record of driving change in a complex group. You must be able to demonstrate real team leadership ability and be an outstanding communicator with the capacity to be become Finance Director of a large scale business in due course.
