Job description
Our client is an Entrepreneurial and progressive firm of Chartered Accountants. The firm benefits from a high number of business referrals from within the regional professional services community (including other accountancy practices); this leading to the growth in the number of high net worth individuals now engaged as full-time clients. Although the latter benefit from a wide base of expertise currently in situ within the existing tax team, as part of ongoing practice expansion the decision has been made to engage a high calibre specialist who will be responsible for development of the private client services business moving forward. The position: ideally employed as a private client specialist, and possessing an appropriate level of qualification (or equivalent), you will be able to demonstrate significant experience in managing the personal tax affairs of a wide range of private clients and high net worth individuals; fully conversant in tax compliance, your expertise will have developed to cover Tax Advisory (tax planning and mitigation), whilst you will also be competent in providing guidance in areas such as inheritance tax, trusts, pension and financial planning. The person: this position would suit an entrepreneurially minded tax professional who is committed to the exciting challenge of leading and building a successful private client practice, but who is perhaps feeling that their career progression is being artificially limited within a larger firm environment; alternatively build your career in an environment where employee initiative is actively encouraged and rewarded.
