Job description

Hudson Cooper is recruiting a Head of Shared Financial Services for a divisional head office of a global client based in Cosham, Portsmouth. This division, specialising in education and skills are in the process of creating a financial shared service centre and this postholder will take responsibility for all transactional activities undertaken within the service centre e.g. accounts payables, accounts receivables, income collection, cashiering, banking, petty cash and VAT services. Initially the team will be quite large but will reduce once activities become embedded in. You will need to hold a CCAB qualification, have senior management experience within a large company environment, strong analytical skills and line management experience including the ability to influence and motivate. In addition an awareness of corporate governance requirements and the ability to manage a departmental budget is essential. Any experience of shared service centres would be a distinct advantage.
