Job description
Qualified Accountants with strong people management skills from a shared services background invited to join a household name business as Head of Shared Services for a period of 18-months to cover secondment and to be based in West Yorkshire required. Reporting to the European FD and taking responsibility for the management of all aspects of transaction processing, your remit will include the maintenance of an effective system of internal controls as well as working closely with the European FD to deliver ongoing transformation projects focusing specifically on process improvement initiatives and change management. You will have management responsibility for the Purchase Ledger, Credit Control and Financial Accounting teams. In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be a qualified finance professional with significant post qualified experience and specific technical capabilities that include treasury management, strong systems skills, a thorough understanding of UK employment legislation & experience of managing a large multifunctional team in a shared service environment. This role is ideal for an individual with a high degree of change orientation and a track record of wider business engagement.
