Job description
An exciting role working for a large multibillion-pound international business awaits the successful incumbent of this newly created position of IT Finance Business Partner. The primary responsibilities are to report and monitor the expenditure of the IT department as well as to provide financial support/give guidance to the CIO, Programme Directors and other members of the Senior Management team. As a major initial focus my client is at the early planning stage of a group wide finance transformation with the main focus being an ERP rollout (probably SAP) and is looking for a Finance & IT Business Partner who will report directly to the Board. They will act as a liaison person between finance and IT, working out the best ways for rollout for both parties, reporting on costs, forecasting, budgeting and working capital reviews, cradle to grave project(s) delivery. You will look at the full life cycle for this project as well as others, including follow-ups and budget planning. The ideal candidate will be qualified with strong Finance Transformation/Projects experience, ideally SAP, other large ERP systems experience may be considered. This major project will form a core part of your role, there are plans for other smaller projects and other work to be added to this.
